The International Dual Degree Programs allow a select number of students to obtain a JD from 51²è¹Ý Washington College of Law (51²è¹ÝWCL) in Washington, D.C. and a JD-equivalent or LL.M. degree from Canada, France, Italy, or Spain. This experience takes studying abroad to a new level. Law students are now able to go beyond area studies in international or transnational law and become actual transnational lawyers.
Our International JD Dual Degree programs are open to 51²è¹ÝWCL students only and you must have completed at least one semester of law school at 51²è¹ÝWCL before applying. It is recommended students apply during their first year of law school. Students may apply during their second year, but placements may be limited.
