The Civil-Military Society (Civ-Mil) is a chapter of the Student Veterans of America (SVA) organization. Our mission is to support 51²è¹Ý Washington College of Law (51²è¹ÝWCL) students who either are or have been in the military or civil service, who seek to join the military, or who identify as military-connected—such as spouses, children, friends, contractors, scholars, and civilians. Civ-Mil augments 51²è¹ÝWCL’s capable services by advocating for our members, providing peer mentorship, leveraging relevant services, and hosting networking opportunities for a variety of legal interests. If you’re interested in learning more about the organization, or just want to talk about law school in general, please reach out to civmil@wcl.american.edu. We also recommend connecting with us on Instagram @wcl_veterans and LinkedIn@ Washington College of Law Civil Military Society for updates on upcoming events.Ìý
