Students must apply for need-based financial aid every year by filing their FAFSA by May 1.

Students who do not file by the priority deadline will be in jeopardy of losing part or all of their 51²è¹Ý need-based aid.

Students that meet all eligibility criteria and whose financial circumstances remain relatively the same can anticipate the same level of funding in the next academic year.

Changes in family financial circumstances, such as income fluctuation and/or the number of household members attending college, will affect financial need and eligibility for aid.

The number of children in college is a significant determinant in the calculation of a student’s financial need. Changes in this number will usually result in substantial a difference in financial aid awarded.
