The academic calendar notes important dates and deadlines that make up the calendar for an academic year.

The academic calendar is divided into fall and spring semesters of approximately 15 weeks each and summer sessions of varying length. The last week of the fall and spring semesters is set aside for final examinations.

The holidays and vacations usually observed by the university are noted. Spring break is the week following the spring semester midterm. Classes continue until 10:40 p.m. the evening before a holiday or vacation period.

Students should review deadlines for adding and dropping courses, student account bill due dates, dates of university holidays, registration dates for upcoming semesters, and exam week dates.
