Carrie Peffley Adjunct Instructor Philosophy and Religion
- Bio
- Carrie Peffley holds graduate degress from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Cambridge University in Cambridge, England. Her main areas of interest are history of philosophy and ethics. As a historian of philosophy, she works on medieval Jewish, Christian, and Islamic philosophy, and is interested in the transmission of ideas across culture, as well as the boundaries between philosophy, theology, and science. As an ethicist, she focuses on virtue and feminist ethics, and is interested in ethics educational curricula.
